A modest proposal

You may have seen this. A Dr Fisher used magnetic image resonance to model what happens in the brain in the early stages of a romance.

For a man, she found, pictures of a new partner light up parts of the brain involved in visual processing and arousal. But women, she noticed, show more activity in areas linked to reward, emotion and attention.
... The Times article goes on to suppose that women are not sexually excited much by a man's appearance.

Yeah, right, that's convincing.

I read on. 'The medical community is trying to develop a drug that works like Viagra, to get women more interested in sex.' But surely there'd be more of a market for one that makes women less interested in sex? No more unladylike behaviour and vulgarity. And think of how much more housework would get done.
