I am happy that Christopher Ecclestone will be the new Dr Who (as pointed out by lots of people quicker than me). I haven't actually watched Dr Who since 1979, but I'm pleased to see the old boy back again, in newly sinister and brooding form. This is my culture damnit. And Michael Grade can piss off.

But, what is this? hafren says that Michael Grade has been shortlisted to be next Director General of the BBC? Noooo.
