|10:16 pm - Aunt duties|
Was just going to go to bed when I got a call from my brother in Epsom. His wife has gone into labour, and can I come down to look after their little girl. So - I'll have a quick shower and change and then set off to drive down. Should take two or three hours. I am not feeling too tired so it will be fine. If they have to go to hospital before I can get there, they will take the girl to a neighbour, but I am hoping that doesn't happen because she is only little and it would be a shame to have to wake her. I feel pleased there's something useful I can do.
ETA - Baby has just been born, he will be called Stanley. All are well. I have had a nice evening with my niece.
Oh my goodness - hope everybody is OK! Drive safe! She'll love to have you there if she wakes up. :-)

Safe journey! And hope everything goes well.
Travel safely, and I hope the birth goes smoothly! I'm sure they'll really appreciate having you there to take one big worry off their minds.
Hope all goes well, and you have good news for her when she wakes in the morning.
