Milo my cat has a slightly poorly eye. I might take him to the vet today. Anyway, a nice bloke from up the road came by to make sure we knew about Milo's eye. Who? Well, it turns out Milo has been going there during the day, when we are all out, for a couple of years now. This chap is retired and does a lot of painting, and Milo keeps him company while he works, and in return he buys a tray of chicken bits every few days to share with his feline friend.

I'm looking after my Mum's cat at the moment, and disgruntled Milo has been disappearing for up to a day at a time. I was worried - particularly with it being cold. Now I know he is somewhere warm and safe, being a muse. Or should I says 'mews'.

When the chap came round Milo came up to him all friendly - ah my chicken provider - and this guy tickles him under the chin and picks him up. Milo is perfectly happy with this manhandling - the hussy. The man says 'Oh, hello Dave'. Dave? That's Milo's name when he's at this guy's house. A cat called Dave.
