Student Protest

My daughter has gone to this demo against the fee hike. She got up at 4am to get on the coach from Manchester. I never managed to get her up that early for anything.

She thought she wasn't going to be able to go because she had compulsory lab work, but her lecturer has postponed it to tomorrow.

I have a feeling my son was planning something a bit more radical. Possibly a sit-down somewhere. Luckily (?) he's got flu this week.

ETA - daughter just texted to say she was part of the sit-down outside Westminster, but all went peacably.
