Signing Songs

A guy gives a sign-language interpretation of Bohemian Rhapsody (while he's driving - yikes!). I really liked it (although the 'yikes' feeling never quite goes away... hands back on the wheel my friend).

This guy Captain Valor does a whole load of ASL versions of pop songs that are nice to watch (He's the guy that did the famous Re:Your brains that got a lot of hits before).

Meanwhile Michael DiMartino does more elaborate interpretations with costume-changes and edits. And here's a young lass doing Tik Tok.

I like dance, but I find a lot of modern dance routines to be over-controlled with strained smiles, like air hostesses. It's like modern porn - you don't get the impression that anyone is enjoying the experience at all. These sign-language versions give me the impression of someone translating their enjoyment of music through body movement.

I see Gove has backed down on climate change and it's back in the curriculum again.

At the moment I have set up this journal so that only friends can comment. I hate doing this, but I was just getting too much Russian spam.
