Johnny Remember Me

I saw a meme in some non-lj blogs: post the single that was number one when you were born. On the day I was born it was a boring song by Helen Shapiro called I Don't Know. However a few days later the spooky Johnny Remember Me by John Leydon reached number one in the UK, and I much prefer it so here it is.

When my son was born the best selling single in the UK was The Only Way Is Up by Yazz and for my daughter, Stay by Shakespeare's Sister. The charts have always been peculiar.
