Beethoven rolls over (in his grave)

I do like the European pan-National anthem: Schiller's Ode to Joy set to Beethoven's 9th.

Freude, schoener Goetterfunken

It's beautiful, inspiring and uplifting.

But don't worry! I've rewritten it. This nonsense kept going round and round in my head while I was at the gym just now, so I thought I'd write it down. The new version expresses the one thing that I think Europeans agree on.
Wir sind nicht Amerikaner
Nous sommes pas Americains
We're not yanks
No somos gringos
Basically we're all the same
Non è questo il nuovo mondo
Dit is de oude wereld
Assim em poucas palavras
Mamy Europejskiej

It fits the tune! I'm quite pleased with myself for managing to fit the words of eight different languages to the meter. Not sure about the stresses on the Polish bit. I used google to check the translations and spelling, but tell me if I'm wrong. (ETA - big thanks for the help)

BTW - this is only about how Europeans define themselves nowadays, not about America of course.
