next audio - still haven't chosen

I'm tempted to listen to another book read by Tom Stechschulte: for example The Road or No Country for Old Men. I'm also tempted by the audio version of Philip K Dick's Valis, which I haven't read for literally decades.

I also see that audible is offering Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I listened to the extract last night, and to be honest I think the joke might get pretty old pretty quickly. 90% of the text is lifted directly from the original: well, say 80%, and the rest is somewhat crudely stitched on references to cutting off heads and ballgowns covered in blood spatter. Which is quite funny. It's a good idea, and I'll watch the film, but I'm not sure I want to listen to ten and a half hours of it.

I also see they've got The Way Back read by Gareth Thomas, and Cygnus Alpha read by Paul Darrow.

BTW has anyone heard of The Dark Universe by Daniel Galouye? Richard Dawkins sez 'of all the novels I have ever read, this is, perhaps, the one that I find myself describing to others more often than any other. '

I don't know. Whatever I choose will live with me for a month so I don't want to screw up.
