I suppose I'll see it on TV when it comes round. I have no expectations either way, but I find most films bearable.

I can't remember if you have read 'Watchmen'. I am not a fan of the superhero genre, and I loathe most superhero films, but this has that awful painful potential to be on a different level.

I read it years ago - I bought a copy recently because it was going so cheap (film promo, I imagine), but haven't had a chance to reread yet.

It's Alan Moore, isn't it? The book. I haven't read much of his stuff. From Hell was OK. The good news is, the movie can't possibly be worse than V for Vendetta.

I am expecting it to be good looking and stylish and faithful to the novel, but I'm not sure yet whether it will actually have the heart of the book. And whether the change to the ending will be rubbish. I'm looking forward to it though.

The first review I read said that it was very good, but would not suit those who don't like a high level of violence. So, that's me out.

I'll probably pick it up on DVD when it comes out. I haven't read it, and almost certainly won't before seeing the film, but I might do afterwards.
