working from home

I'm working from home today because I've got a cold - don't feel like going out, but not really ill enough to stop work. It's very handy to be able to remote-work sometimes. My boss likes to have me around - partly it's the type of work I do, which is quite reactive to crises. Most other people in my directorate take a day a week at home. It is more restful. If I need to close my eyes for a bit, or get up and prowl around, I don't feel inhibited, and that helps me get more done.

Do you get to work from home ever?

At the moment I have set up this journal so that only friends can comment. I hate doing this, but I was just getting too much Russian spam.
