|04:27 pm - Jamaica flight|
I'm about to take the train down to Gatwick. I am staying overnight at a hotel next the airport (ah, restful) and then flying out tomorrow morning. The journey to Jamaica takes about 10 hours - 10 hours of terror at 10,000 feet. No. I must learn to face and conquer my fear. I will let you know how I get on.
Other than that, if there is some kind of Internet facility in the hotel I'll do a little lj-update from Mandeville, or check in next week when I'm back.
If I get back ... dun, dun DUN
Have a good journey, and I hope it's not too stressful. The time there sounded as though it should be interesting, though - I hope that goes well.
Hope the journey goes well, and have a great time once you're out there.
Hope you have a smooth journey and you can manage your terror. And have a fabulous time whilst in Jamaica.

Ooh, I fancy that! Port Royal and the pirates.... hope the flight is uneventful. The icon is a naval votive but maybe it'll bring luck in the air too!

I managed to get to Dublin and back, with no more than a respectable amount of sobbing and gibbering. [Thanks again for your help with that.] So you'll breeze that piddly little hop to the other side of the world.
I will have another go, if you are prepared to try, as I feel I have made the progress myself now, and I can work on it in a more confident and positive way
