|11:00 am - The Imagined Village|
Isn't it funny how things come together? The other day altariel recommended a CD to me called The Imagined Village. I said it sounded interesting. This morning when I got to work the CD was on my desk: 'Communicator I thought you might like to borrow this' - from one of our Directors. Pretty quick turn-around.

That was me! Let me know what it's like, I've only heard a couple of tracks, although I nearly bought it on the strength of the Tam Lin retelling.
Sorry to be so forgetful. I haven't heard any of it yet but I'll do a review
(ETA but how amazing to get hold of it so quickly without looking for it or asking)

Gosh, no worries about forgetting, I forget most of what happens to me - I was excited that you'd come across a copy. I love it when life throws up these connections.
ETA: Did you want your real name in an unlocked entry?

It's quite a common name, but I suppose not
Oh, how interesting. I have a bit of a soft spot for a number of those artists, like Tunng and Billy Bragg, although I don't really go out of my way to find them.
Same here, they seem to have gone out of their way to find me today

Thanks for mentioning this again! I had an HMV gift card from my birthday so I got this today. I note that it also cites Trans-Global Underground as one of the contributors, and I like what I've heard of their music so far.
Great, let me know how you get on with it. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.
