I have a kitchen again, this makes me happy. I feel decadent because I've got a tumble dryer and a dishwasher, both of which I have shunned all my life as wasteful and unnecessary. Now suddenly highly necessary. God what luxuries those would have been when I had two small children and a full time job.
My kitchen has a grey slate floor and black granite surface and a big steel oven. It is perhaps a bit bleak? But me and H like it. I can't wait to get cracking with it.
I'm on my course this weekend, so I might not post much. Might go and see Cloverfield tonight. Though how good can it be? I'm not too hopeful.
I bought the book of No Country For Old Men from the University bookshop, and I'm also trying to figure out the screenplay. There's something in that film I haven't quite extricated, but I'm interested in it.
