The Wire

I bought season 1 of The Wire on DVD, and while I was off sick I watched the first 5 episodes. It's very good, very well written, just the kind of thing I like. I don't think it will quite blow me away like Deadwood did, perhaps because none of the characters are that sexy or perhaps because cowboys > cops and gangsters. But it is clearly very good indeed.

I should probably get Battlestar Galactica next?
