How are design contracts like this awarded and monitored? There is so much talent in this country, how come a load of useless tossers get a contract like this? They know someone? They went to the right school? They are masters of Powerpoint? What? And can we put a stop to it?

ETA and more logos from the public #3 and #11 may just possibly have satirical intent, while #7 is great I think, though it's not really a logo.
