Chomsky

This will only be accessible for 24 hours but Noam Chomsky has a brief article up on the Guardian site: Washington's escalation of threat against Iran is driven by a determination to secure control of the region's energy resources. As that title would suggest, it's just a quick assertion of Chomsky's position, in blunt terms.

What surprises me most is that the comments which follow are largely supportive, and the dissent is calm and rational. Because normally anything that appears by Chomsky attracts nutcases like flies to honey. I suppose there's a few hours to go yet.
