Saddam to be killed

Oh, and looking up that Nicaraguan thing, I see that they have just sentenced Saddam Hussein to death by hanging, timeline of that new story is ten minutes ago. Presumably this is timed to coincide with the American mid-term elections in two days time.

So, the Republicans have squeezed one final drop of benefit from the husk of their former ally, and let the depleted body fall.
