GO AND SEE THIS FILM
It is fucking awesome.
This may be the best animated film I have ever seen.
What stuck me was that it was like seeing one of my own dreams, projected up onto a screen in front of me, which is quite a powerful experience. It is somewhat like 'Alice in Wonderland', I guess. I think some people do have dreams that are very like Alice, though I never do. Instead I have dreams about big houses, with lots of layers. A furnace in the basement, a lift going up through the stories. Big windows. And water... rooms full of water, landscapes flooded with water. Water as a cleansing, transforming force.
