Steve Irwin

According to Wikipedia, Steve Irwin is only the second person in Australian history to have been killed by a stingray ('stingrays generally do not attack aggressively, or even actively defend themselves'). It seems astonishing bad luck that the 'sting' caught him in the chest at just the wrong place, and pierced his heart. He spent so much time doing much riskier things with much more dangerous animals. Respectful farewell to him.
