Doctor Who gives me advice

Sorry about being so whiny yesterday. I need a break and so, through the wonderful power of holidays, I am going to take one. I'm going to a cottage in Pembrokeshire from tomorrow - nothing very special alas, but it's not here, and at the worst I'll sleep and read for a week.

I had a vivid dream last night where I was Doctor Who and I met this group of whiny middle class space travellers who were settled on a new planet, and they were all nihilistic and cynical. In my Doctor Persona I berated them - I have seen the future of this planet, and it's all sparkly- so stop complaining because the future is bright.

Anyway, so I'll be off tomorrow for a week, and hopefully come back not feeling so tired and cynical about life.
