Sue White apparently descended into psychosis. From her p.o.v. she gave birth to a live lion cub. From Mac's p.o.v. she was carrying around a fluffy toy in a baby carrier. But it growled?
Caroline Todd became an absurd Mary Sue with almost every man in the place falling in love with her. Is this her dream? Or is it Mac's? I found her boring in this episode, and that's not been the case before.
Kate died, as far as I can tell, in a terrible accident, but nobody took any notice. I assume this is why the police were milling about towards the end.
For Mac's illness to work there would have had to be some prior set-up or clue. I don't think there was. It was as if this scene was written with someone who hadn't been involved in the rest of the series to that point.
Why didn't the pregnant woman (I forget her name) who has been thrown out by her husband, tell her lover? What is going to happen to her?
Mac and Guy did not get it together. What a shame, it would have been a great scene. The show was begging for it. Then they could have all three lived together.
The relationship between Statham and Boyce came to a vibrant conclusion. Boyce is a very interesting character, because he apparently has lots of imagination and no boundaries, and he can't leave Statham alone. Statham has no imagination, but he doesn't know what the boundaries are. Boyce kisses Statham and Joanna and asks them to go to a motel with him. WHY DIDN'T THEY GO?
