You're the one with all the mucky pictures

Anyone interested in political language should read this piece of perfect Rorschach prose by Chris Bertram at Crooked Timber. Then read the comments. Everyone sees what they want to see (and of course many get and extend the joke).

It remind me of that old joke which I am sure you have heard before. A psychiatrist shows the patient a series of ink blots and at each one the client says 'It looks like two people having sex' after half an hour of this the psychiatrist says 'You seem to be obsessed with sex', 'Me? You're the one with all the dirty pictures!'

This joke can be made more offensive on request.
