Arbitrary blackness gallops in
It's Friday, so it's mindless posting day
Read Sylvia's mad love poem here. 'The stars go waltzing out in blue and red, And arbitrary blackness gallops in.'
But if I said I was a man it gave me Dover Beach by Matthew Arnold which actually is my favourite poem (or one of them).
Retreating, to the breath
Of the night wind, down the vast edges drear
And naked shingles of the world.
..
the world hath neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain
So hurrah for quizzes and everything turned out nice again.
