I missed Doctor Who yesterday, so I watched the repeat on BBC3 just now. Last week, single parents, this week the death penalty. I think what I appreciate most about Doctor Who is that it never pisses me off. You can disagree with the doctor but you can't dislike the show.

The Anne-Widdecombe-esque Annette Badland seized the best opportunity she's ever had, and made a flipping good job of it.

And isn't next week's episode a re-make of that Lexx episode Lafftrack?
