Cancelling third world debt is a no-brainer. We don't need their pennies. If I'm wrong - if our capitalist economy is so fragile that it depends on an influx of money extorted from the poorest people on earth - then we need to improve it, and the only way we will ever improve is to take the training wheels off. So either way, we have to stop taking money from Africans.

I can never feel comfy while I know I am getting money off starving people. It's crap. I don't want their fucking money.

There's another point too, which is that the way we make them pay is to use our military strength (by 'our' I mean the western world in general) to support blood crazed psychos who will continue to syphon money our way. And if anyone resists our pillage - like Salvador Allende, or Patrice Lumumba - we slaughter them.

We look at governments in, say. China, who allowed people to die of starvation, in pursuit of bad economic and agricultural policies. We think, how could they do it? But our system is just the same. Our system lets people die, but we are so close to it that we can't see it, it just seems like no-system, like a transparent system, like a state of nature. But our free market neo-liberal system is not a state of nature, it is a huge artifice, propped up by military power. We can change it.
