breaking bad

Poliakoff=pants

New Stephen Poliakoff drama on BBC1 tonight. The Guardian describes it:

In typically understated style we follow a young janitor as he explores a stately empty townhouse belonging to Michael Gambon's reclusive haunted billionaire.

Is it just me or is Stephen Poliakoff a load of pants? Why is he treated with such reverence? I'm sick of stories about poor people encountering rich people in massive properties. And oh, oh, perhaps the rich person has something to learn from the poor person? How liberal and open-minded a concept. But don't forget the poor person also has something to learn too. Perhaps that money doesn't buy you happiness? And no doubt there will be some massive party where a rich bird gets her kit off.
