Sex bomb

According to New Scientist, the Pentagon explored some... unusual combat options during the 1990s.

The Pentagon considered developing a host of non-lethal chemical weapons that would disrupt discipline and morale among enemy troops, newly declassified documents reveal. Most bizarre among the plans was one for the development of an "aphrodisiac" chemical weapon that would make enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other.

Hey! I think I read a story about that once! Or was it more than once?

It's one way to slow down troop manouevres. Other methods which were explored include 'chemicals to attract swarms of angry wasps to enemy troop positions' and 'a chemical that caused severe and lasting halitosis'.

Combine the three and you've got all the makings of a grand night out.
