His Dark Pie

Oh god. Tom Stoppard has been dropped as scriptwriter for the film of His Dark Materials. The director, Chris Weitz prefers to write his own scripts. Well, he wrote American Pie, and Stoppard only wrote Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Oh, and a few more things. But he's no Chris Weitz.
