12:13 am - Manchurian Candidate I don't usually like re-makes, but I went to see 'Manchurian Candidate' today, and liked it quite a lot. It's a clever, well made thriller, which couldn't be much more topical. There's a nice angsty relationship at its core, and Denzel Washington strips Liev Shreiber's shirt off and bites an implant out of his back. That's not something you see every day. I only have one objection: the Hollywood ending was a travesty as always. The acting and cinematography was good, and the plot pretty good.
PS - What a lot of people lately have told me that they are having bad dreams! A lot of comments on livejournal about it. I'm not having them myself, but I wonder if its a reflection of the global uncertainty.

Yaaah! I've been having bad dreams too, because all of my classmates are in my dreams. Classmate-invasion is not good, I see them enough at school. :O It's a funny transitional time you're going through. Yes, I blame it on a hormonal overload. :P Ha! How did you pick your icon BTW? It seems to fit your personality quite well. |
