This is frickin' priceless. 1978, some SF awards show, William Shatner in a lounge suit performing Rocket Man by Elton John (ASF link).

There is something immortal about this. Don't get me wrong, I know it's bad beyond bad, but that's its glory. Cast off the surly bonds of Earth, and go for it William.
