A nice review in the New Yorker of the King James Bible and a book written about the people who created it (Adam Nicolson: God’s Secretaries - sounds interesting).

I had forgotten how lovely the use of language is in the KJB, having been put off at an early age by the content.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
